Speaking is a skill. Skills are not read. They are practised.

You cannot learn it over a weekend. You cannot learn it from a book, or a crash course, or one more video. You learn it the way you learned every other skill you have: a little, regularly, in front of someone.

Every single morning

Our members meet at 6 AM. Every day.

Fifteen minutes, every morning, practising communication, public speaking and storytelling. Not a course, not a challenge with an end date. A habit. The Sunday room is simply where that week of practice becomes something you can watch.

What it is

A stage that comes around every week

Most people who want to speak better are waiting for an occasion. The occasion arrives, they are not ready, and the next one is months away. The IMPACT Practice Room Online removes the waiting. It is the same room, the same time, every Sunday, so practice becomes something you do rather than something you intend to do.

All of it runs between 6:30 and 7:15 AM. The order shifts a little from week to week, the shape does not.

How we keep the room worth attending

Members prepare for these 45 minutes. A few simple things keep the room professional for them, and worth your early morning.

Video on, for the whole session This is a practice room, not a broadcast. Speakers need to see the faces they are speaking to, and you will get far more out of it when you are visible too.
Join by 6:20, we start at 6:30 The room opens ten minutes early so everyone is settled before the first speaker begins.
Be somewhere you can take part Please don't join while driving, exercising or moving between places. If the morning is busy, register for a Sunday that isn't.
Register only if you are coming If you register and don't turn up for two sessions, we won't be able to accept further registrations from you. It isn't about being strict. Someone prepared a talk for that room, and preparation deserves an audience.

Questions, answered.

No. Most guests come to watch first. There is audience interaction, and you are welcome to take part, but nobody is put on the spot.
No. This room exists partly so that people considering YGB can see exactly how we practise before deciding anything.
Yes. The session is entirely online, which is the point of it. Timings are IST.
Register on this page and we will email it to you, along with the date and timing, before the session.
Yes. The next four Sundays are always open, so you can book the one that suits you.
Yes. Speakers are presenting to a room, and a room of blank squares is a poor one to practise in front of. If you cannot be on camera that morning, pick another Sunday.
Reply to your confirmation email and we will move you to another Sunday. We only close the door after two registrations where someone simply never arrives.
The in-person IMPACT Practice Room runs for two hours in Bengaluru and includes longer talks. This one is weekly, online and 45 minutes, built around short formats and regular practice.
